Ronald Georges has worked in the communications industry for over 25 years. He has covered mostly technology news and culture, with a specialization in pop and rock journalism.
Wine came into his life after his first trips to France in the early 1990s. After training in sommellerie at the Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ), he launched his blog, Le secret est dans le vin, in 2007. From 2011 to 2014, he was in charge of the blog Millésime, on Radio-Canada.ca
He continues with his personal blog, but he wrote his first book in 2019, Rouge sur blanc, À la découverte des vins et spiritueux du Québec, and Le guide Georges des spiritueux du Québec, in 2021.
